Since the Bethlehem Center is a nonprofit organization, we operate heavily on donations from our supporters and the community at large. All in-kind donations are tax-deductible, and donations are supplied with a donation receipt at the time of donation. Always see your tax specialist for specific details.

Surplus Contributions Are Welcome
We know that in today's competitive marketplace, companies and suppliers may overstock perishable items. While a challenge for the local merchant or packing house, it can help deliver critical goods and services to those have the most need. We have limited cold storage (fresh and frozen), but because of the volume of food panty boxes we complete, we can use all the items you wish to donate.
A couple of important points:

packaged and canned materials must clearly be marked withe the content and use by date. We can not distribute stale dated materials.

we welcome frozen products, however they should be able to be prepared with a stove or oven since many of our families may not have access to microwave ovens.
Fresh goods like bread, tortillas, pasta are a welcome addition to a healthy and balanced diet for those in the most critical of needs.
